Thanks Derek,

But drakopt calls hdparm, which isn't there and I'm damned if I can find
it in software manager.  Searched by file and by description, without
any hits apart from powertweak and webmin,which are both installed.

I'm cross-posting this to the expert list.  Maybe someone over there has
found it.
