Hey everyone, I'm writing a paper concerning the current MS trial and why the DOJ's proposal should not be accepted, and I am working on creating a historical understanding of the situation in the first few pages of my paper. I remember reading somewhere that it was proven that MS intentinoally coded Windows 3.1 to check to be sure the version of DOS it was running on was MS-DOS. Unfortunately I can't find this source anymore to use this information. If anyone knows of a source which states this, your help would be appreciated. Any other sources that you think may be useful are welcome as well. Thanks in advance!
