Hi,
I just installed it yesterday myself.
A few tips, please note that I may use the wrong terms as I use it in
Swedish.
Anyway, after starting xcdroast as root go to settings (topmost button
to the left) and the tab about diskdrives (third tab)
Here you should specify a directory for storing the disc images you
create before burning them. Next go to the last tab Users and enter your
normal username and check as many of the options below as you like
before you click "change Non-Root configuration".
After that, you can logout root and start it as a user.
As for details on how to burn and setting up the cd burner, I can't help
you. I have never managed to burn a single disc in Linux ;-)
HTH,
Bo Rosn
