In KDE 2.2.1, to set the home URL in Konqueror, I start it, click on
"Settings" and then type:
file:/home/name/mydata/subdir/newfile.htm
then click on "Apply" and "OK" ... but the home URL I just specified doesn't
take. Instead, one that I had previously set is still the active home URL
file:/mnt/windows/subdir/oldfile.htm
But when I click on "Settings" to check what file is specified as home URL,
it shows the more recent one I had specified (as first shown above).
Very strange.
How do I get Konqueror to do what I tell it to do?
