Then you have already symlinked it... no wait, Mandrake detected it during 
it's install and automatically linked it (woops, forgot the glory of 
mandrake!!!).

It should be Matrix.avi if you used the above command, but you are using 
lame options here in your command when you don't have lame included. I 
would say first install the lame RPM I sent you and try again. Anything in 
Linuix can be piped, but why pipe when it can be done with the examples I 
gave in the other reply ;-) I suggest to read the mencoder man page to 
actually understand what the options meen. It's not har I promise, it's 
just remembering what the bloody commands were (after a few beers) that is 
the hard part ;-)
