I think I'm overdue for this week's Fluxbox praise. I don't know about KDE
or Gnome, but you can do what you want in Fluxbox by editing a simple file
called ~/.fluxbox/menu. Once you get your keybindings set up, those
desktop icons just seem like such a waste. And, if you use Fluxbox with a
graphical file manager like Rox or others, you'll never go back to
KDE--it's just toooo sloooooow. But if you've got a fast processor and
lots of RAM, I suppose KDE is nice.
