Charles, to each his own man, but are you serious? Enlightenment is every bit the resource hog that Gnome and KDE are. I will say this though. The texstar packages for KDE 3.0.1 are terrific and quite speedy in loading the desktop. not *quite* as fast as my new favorite WM, Fluxbox, but still far faster then KDE2.2.2.
