Maybe so, Anne. As there are several users on the system, I copy
the entire /home directory to another, external drive as root,
naturally. Then, after the new system is installed and running I
copy everything back, still as root. So next time I'll try to let
every user copy her/his stuff instead. Thanks for the tip.
