on any public mirror
http://www.acert.pt/~fribeiro/mirrorwatch/?distro=mandrake&vtype=devel
you can find:
pub/linux/ (Mandrakelinux/mandrake/similar) /devel/10.2/
and there: contrib, jpackage, main
i downloaded the 3 CDs with Mdr 10.2 RC2 from /iso/10.2/i586/
rebooted with CD 1 and performed an upgrade from 10.1, rebooted,
then added custom "media"/sources from official/10.2/i586/media/
for main, contrib and jpackage
and got no updates at all.
but selecting 2005 at http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/
i follow the instructions and add all sources.
then in mcc i update i see it trys to add an update source
and only looks there for updates: empty.
then i go to a root terminal, enter
urpmi.update -a && urpmi --auto-select
have to select a voice (twice KAL and twice KED),
but then when prompted to get urpmi-4.6.24-2mdk.noarch
i get an error for not found.
now i go to mcc install, select "All packages, by update availability".
i check "Upgradeable" to get all updates.
i get an unsatisfied dependency for some imagemagick.
various packages like drakxtools have missing signatures.
i would like to be able to copy those error messages.
then i get a list of about 10 missing packages, including
drakxtools, harddrake-ui-10.2-22, harddrake,
urmpmi-4.6.24-2mdk.noarch.rpm, indexhtml, gurpmi.
my sources are listed below.

to my surprise, this system works after a reboot :-)
and i can now easily edit websites using NVU,
use the latest Firefox and Thunderbird,
participate in worldwide p2p file sharing via aMule
and easily make backups of my movies and DVDs using Thoggen.
thank you PLF :-)

on some mirrors you can also find
mirrors/ftp.mandrake-linux.com/Mandrakelinux/official/10.2/i586/media/
with main, contrib and jpackage
but i am not sure if they are crippled on purpose
because i get unmatched dependencies when trying to use those.
Vincent ?
is the best way to get Mandrake 10.2 now for free to use cooker ?
i would like to contribute to bug reporting
but can not fix a broken installation except by reinstalling.
it looks like Mandriva has enough paying bug reporters.

I'd just like to know where I can get the ISO's....
I downloaded RC2 from here...
ftp://anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk/Mandrakelinux/devel/iso/10.2/i586/
...and then just used the cooker mirrors to update.
so are you essentially running cooker now ?
or is there a reason you are not choosing devel/10.2/ ?

kind regards philippe
