Ya, they tried a system like that here in Toronto, didn't last long. Of
course, we had better alternatives, which obviously in the Pyrenees is not
the case. It's not a *great* sol'n, but it's better than nuthin, eh?

I'm surprised they didn't try to go through the mobile network instead of
satellite. No towers nearby to access the GSM/GPRS network?
