as reported 2 days ago,
urpmi.update -a && urpmi --auto-select
results in the failure Travis is describing.
is it usual that Mandriva wouldn't fix the index file for days ?
It happens all too often - particularly with a new release :-(
I've contacted Mandriva to report the problem - I suggest you try the
updates again tomorrow, perhaps they will have fixed it by then.
Just heard back from Mandriva - the hdlists have been fixed, but it
might take a few hours before all the mirrors contain the new files. I
suggest you wait until later today and then try to update with
urpmi.update -a && urpmi --auto-select
thank you, Margot, thanks to your good services,
nine days after the "release" of Mandrake 10.2 / Mandriva 2005 LE
official/2005/i586/media/ has finally been fixed on the mirrors
so an update from a free Mandrake 10.2 RC2 installation can complete.
the media dir currently contains contrib, jpackage, main;
should there also be an update directory
once the "broken mirrors" issue is resolved ?
currently this new edition runs well here,
but i have no antialiasing and USB speakers do not work.
kind regards philippe
