I am looking to get some screen captures of some websites that I use. Can anyone recommend a good screen capture program? Under Windows, I would press Alt and Print Scrn to capture then paste into paint. Is the process similar here? Thanks.
In KDE, just press *PrintScreen* and Ksnapshot will pop up.
Is there another key that will bring it up? It sometimes pops up on my screen unexpectedly. I've assumed it's down to me hitting a wrong key when typing - but I don't think it's PrintScreen that's doing it.
I'd intended to ask about this on the list anyway.
It's copied to clipboard ready for pasting (apparently). 8-)
If you really want overkill, there's screen capture in The Gimp (complete with adjustable time delay, and window or full-screen selection). File >> acquire >> screenshot
