'civility', in which case, point taken.


I agree with angus here, I think servility fits the ideology of open source and its advocates very well.

The idea of doing something for the good of others / everyone, not just yourself. ie you are serving them. Christ is a good example, he stood up against what was wrong, but not for personal gain. He is sometimes refered to as the servent king. In this way servility fits all open source developers, just not in a forced labour kind of way :)
