Amazing what can be achieved with a little bit of insanity ;-)
Seriously though, did you end up getting any kind of ink monitoring working? I have a Photo R210 and would be interested to know.
Cheers,
Aidan.
Yes I used the CLI escputil and get this. > >[EMAIL PROTECTED] rosemary]# escputil -r /dev/lp0 -u -i Escputil version 4.2.7, Copyright (C) 2000-2001 Robert Krawitz Escputil comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY; for details type 'escputil -l' This is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it under certain conditions; type 'escputil -l' for details.
Ink colour Percent remaining
Black 42
Cyan 97
Magenta 97
Yellow 98It didn't work until after I uninstalled mtink though. Also I changed the command from what I was originally told because my printer is parallel port not usb. Original suggestion said to use '/dev/usb/lp0'
Not sure if this is for all printers or just epson - just epson I think.
Maybe it will work for you too?
