I don't know if you tried it yet or not but, I had a ISA sb card that I could not get to work until I enabled "PNP aware OS" in the bios. So perhaps trying it on or off to see if diference. On another note if you have kppp installed it has simple menu for clicking on a port and quering a modem to find out where its at. Mike
