I did an urpmi installation of i686 and urpmi crashed during urpmi upgrading.
I finally got it fixed (a true pain in the butt) but it finally finished. For
me the big deal was getting xmms to work. The upgrade upgraded some of the
package XMMS needs, but not XMMS itself. I had to backout of the upgradeded
packages to get it in.

So if x86_64 is anything like i686, problems are minor and should not be a big
deal.
