Some time ago someone posted regarding dual booting to different linux distro's.
I believe some responded by saying you could edit the lilo.conf file by adding the following.
image=/boot/vmlinuz label="Redhat" root=/dev/hdb1
I think the above looks right I just don't want mess up my lilo.conf file. If some one can confirm the above will work dual booting two different linux distro's?

I have used MCC to change to grub, in preparation for trying the new distro (CCUX), but it stalled :-) May help you ...

I should have said that I guess it depends what boot system the distro defaults to, and whether it has options to change automatically. Hope I haven't messed you up ... Since this is a mandriva list, I assume you're running it :-)

Hi Rosemary
Don't panic, I'm using Mandriva, however the second distro will be whitebox enterpise linux, it's basically Redhat enterpise linux RHEL 3 without the logo's and trademarks. I'm taking one of the Redhat certifications so WBEL is the nearest RHEL 3.
I'll have the dual boot process underway shortly. The thing can happen I guess is my hardrive dying. :)
