After more reseach on google I took some ideas up to my linux mentor (duel boot machine) and compared the .ini files. Once we edited the BM .ini files in Linux to that in the M$ system we can now open the programme. Just got to get the files (db & forms) to open on my machine. They open on the duel boot machine OK.
