Dave, did you get this sorted. When I loaded the latest Mdk RPM the
./.wine/winecfgm file was also missing. Also at time of installing a file called
./.wine-native (which may have come of the cd's, have a copy of 'silver club
member' courtise of my mentor and his Texan friend) was installed. I found a
copy of the config. file there which I copied across. It works great, well for
me anyway.

If you havn't caught it see the thread started earlier this week "WINE" which
might help if having trouble to get programmes to run.
