Try: System, Configuration, Configure Your computer, which will put
you in the KDE control center.
Then go down to System , Login Manager and select Administrator
--this is where you can
change how you log in. ( this is 10.1 -but dont think its cahnged )
Another way of getting to the KDE control Center is to Run, kcontrol.
