I hate to say it, but I'm having problems with Xorg, also. I installed LE10.2 on an experimental box (Celeron 466, 196 Megs, ATI Rage 128 w/16megs), and Xorg borked it on the first boot, after a successful test during install. I booted with Knoppix and did my config files by hand, which got my mouse working, but still no joy on the GUI--I hang on the log-in screen or while loading my desktop. 9.2 works "out of the box" on that machine. I don't think Xorg is quite ready for prime time, and that means it certainly isn't newbie friendly. e
