Start a new thread with details of what it is doing and we will get you going with TightVNC Just for starters check your /etc/sysconfig/vncservers file looks something like VNCSERVERS="2:david" and the 'vncserver' service is running in MandrivaControlCentre>System>Services and the file /home/david/.vnc/xstartup is executable and contains something like #!/bin/bash startkde & # to start KDE in a VNC window #fluxbox & # to start fluxbox in a VNC window #icewm & # to start icewm in a VNC window (uncomment as required) HTH derek -- www.jennings.homelinux.net http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org
