Hi Mikkel,
Right, here goes......!! :-)
Pasted are some console snippets:
----
[EMAIL PROTECTED] jrh]# modprobe ide-tape
[EMAIL PROTECTED] jrh]# Warning: skip "info" field => "OnStream DI-30"
Warning: skip "channel" field => "secondary"
Warning: skip "info" field => "OnStream DI-30"
Warning: skip "channel" field => "secondary"
----
[EMAIL PROTECTED] jrh]# mt -f /dev/ht0 status
/dev/ht0: No such file or directory
---
I cannot find any /dev/ht0 in my /dev/ directory. HardDrake is showing a tape
device as /hdd , but a quick look at /dev/ shows no /hdd either. mt-st is
installed (as you can probably tell!), and Drakbackup still tells me that no
tape device is found, when I try to configure a backup.......
For info, I'm running LE 2k5, Kernel 2.6.11-6, PIII 550MHz, 392MB RAM.
Any further ideas? apart from go back to 10.1? (so far 2k5LE hasnt really
impressed me that much!)
Cheers,
James
