they usually do change the Theme for each release ..

if ya didn't know, you can install different 
bootsplash themes from Mandrake Control Center or 
# urpmi bootsplash-themes bootsplashchooser

or Download this RPM
http://webpages.charter.net/upsnag/rpms/mandrivaextra-themes-1.0.0-1mdk.noarch.rpm

After installing, run Mandrake Control Center, click
'Boot' then 'Select the graphical theme of the system while
booting'. You can pick from either MdkBlueTux or MdvNoTux which is
the LE2005 stars theme minus the penguin.
