should work.
I'm going with the other folks who think it is a bad iso cut.
Or possibly the dvd was cut at too fast a speed for your DVD to read
the boot sector correctly.

I think we can all agree that I have a dud dvd :
[EMAIL PROTECTED] mnt]# cat iso/README.txt | more
cat: iso/README.txt: Input/output error
Went to download a dvd iso and could only find the cut down versions -
size about 2 gigs
As I'm in New Zealand I went to the inspire mirror but the download
stopped at 97% . Cannot remember what this meant so am now downloading
the mini version and looking at completing things via adsl. At 32kBs/sec
that may take some time, guess I won't be doing anything for a couple of
days.
Thanks for all the suggestions, I guess I had to strike a dud sometime.
