The camera should be /dev/sda, not /dev/hdd. The USB mass storage
devices show up as SCSI drives, not IDE drives. (The data on the camera
is probably /dev/sda1.) In 10.1, it should show up mounted on
/mnt/removable or /mnt/camera, depending on how it is detected. In
2005LE, the exact mount point depends on more rules. If there is a
volume label, then that will be used to create a mount point. If that
fails, it then tries the device name. If all else fails, it will fall
back on /dev/removable.

If you have more then one USB storage device, or "real" SCSI drives,
then the device may be a different device letter. Also, if you have more
then one device that would be mounted as /dev/removable, the second
becomes /dev/removable2, the third /dev/removable3, etc...
