If so, you need some additional packages that Mandriva can't supply because of licensing issues and legalities. Go to easyurpmi.zarb.org and set up sources - the page will talk you through what you need to do. I'd recommend setting up a source from each group, although the plf ones are what you need for this.
Once you've done that, additional software will show up in your Software Installer screens. You need to look for libdvdcss and any package that has 'codec' in the name. If you still have problems, tell us what software you are using to play the DVDs, and we'll ask for anything else needed. Anne
