I figured it out. For one there were two versions of wine with 10.1. Only
one of them came with wine utils which I think gave me the gui. Also running
the command "winecfg" brings up gui of wine configuration. There is also a
program called Xwine that is a gui for wine. Thanks.

I noticed that in Mandrake 10.0 that WIne Hq had a gui when you installed
it. I installed it in 10.1 but I don't think there is a gui. Does anyone
know if there is a gui in 10.1, and if not can I get a Wine Hq gui?
Thanks.

I can tell you what I have on my 10.1 system: In my /home/graham folder
there is a folder called winetools. In that there is an executable file
wt208jo. This brings up the gui configuration program - winetools. I
can't remember whether it came with the wine installation or whether I had
to install it separately. I advise a look around on wineHQ.
Sorry if this is a bit vague.
