I recently installed M10.1 on an older machine with an AMD K6 processor. After install when I rebooted, it got to that first line where the kernel decompresses and then the machine reboots every time. I found that it boots and runs fine with the 2.4 kernel though. Not a great big deal with what I'm going to use this machine for, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me why it's happening.
