- serious. I'm no fan of KDE, but they've done a good job.
We're all used to "getting our hands dirty" and Linspire makes
for none of that.
For someone that wanted to give it a go (GNU/linux) on their
own without much assistance, I'd give'em a disk.
I still find Knoppix a better choice. It's just as flexible,
but more familiar, more secure, and you can point-and-click
install software very easily at http://klik.atekon.de/

I off to give Linspire a spin 'cause my mates need something really easy
to play with.
For now I find PCLinuxOS 9.1 real good as a livecd to show my mates [and
boss] on their own computers. They are impressed with the eye candy and
point and click stuff.
