Thanks for these words of wisdom Mr Geek. My friend, who has just got
her first computer, was experiencing the fact that Thunderbird was not
always loading correctly so after finding your mail this morning, while
seaching to see if her problem had been asked about by someone else, I
have loaded the above packages as suggested. Hope it solves the problem.
