What is the best way to get MySQL going with Mandriva 2006 RC1, so I can
use it with PHP?
Under the package manager I see:
libmysql14-...
MySQL-4.1...
MySQL-client-4.1...
MySQL-common-4.1...
php-mysql-5.0.4...
I guess I could just install everything and that would cover it.
Under Mandriva 10.1 I recall seeing some instructions in the output of
the phpinfo function that said to run urpmi mysql (but don't remember if
it was supposed to be mysql_so or something like that).
Also, is there any big reason to download RC2 now? I haven't been
noticing any problems with RC1.
Thanks,
Matt
