Hello,

If i start this shell script as root, a shutdown process is started. If I change my mind and i want to shut the system down now it doesn't work. It says that there is already shutdown running. Then I first have to cancel shutdown with "shutdown -c". Why doesn't the last command overrule the first command?? Where can I change that setting. I could't find where to do that. On FreeBSD it works just fine, so why not on linux?

#!/bin/sh
shutdown -h 22:00

With kind regards,

Koen de Wijs
