Apparently those are quircks we have to live with:-(

In most of the years before it was CD players and supermount that made life 
hell on Mandriva (errr...Mandrake at the time). t>Hat isue has been resolved 
with most distro's using supermount in a similar way ........ now the 
problems are USB devices. They will be that way for a quit some time to come, 
believe me.

We're going to be switching from one testing system to the other ....we 
allready have: From devfs to udev!
There's certainly going to be more.
