A better method is to use Ghost4Linux. ftp://fedoragcc.dyndns.org/ You
can download the bootable CD image and burn it.
Mikkel
will this allow the new drive to boot?
Thanks
Al
To tell you the truth, I don't know if it will. But if the system does
not boot with the new drive, the fix is easy. Follow these steps:
* Boot from the Mandriva install CD
* At the prompt, hit F1 for more options.
* Enter "rescue" at the prompt.
* Pick "Re-install Boot loader" from the menu.
