[newbie] Will Mandriva 2006 installation partition a Windows XP drive.

Hi, I want to install 2006 on my Windows XP laptop to give me a dual 
boot system. Will the installation proceedure offer me an opportunity to 
create a suitable partition on the hard drive? In the past I have used 
System Commander to partition my drives prior to installing Linux, but 
my version is not compatible with XP.
