The fact is that Lookout! in particular and Windows in general are a 'problem' in that they do not follow accepted (ie. consensual) standards when it comes to things like quoting, threading, and many more that are beyond the scope of this thread. You are free to Google 'what's wrong with Outlook' or refer to the applicable RFC's to see what I mean. It is understood that some people *have to* use such a broken MUA, but it is also requested, politely, on the Twiki, that users do what they can to ameliorate the annoyances that said broken clients may cause. As to top-posting, it is not a generally accepted practice, however you free to do so if you wish. It is up to the rest of the list to decide whether to tolerate it. Your call. Personally I don't get too wound up about it, but there are those who take it more seriously.
