Well, it's like this. They store all the user's mail on their monster servers,
scanning each mail for keywords. That way, they can target advertising based on
the content of the user's mail (among other things). In fact, they even make it
very difficult to actually *delete* mail. Why do you think they offered this
*simply wonderful* 2GB of storage?

If you've got nothing better to do, follow that link I posted about GMail. Very
interesting reading, though it could be interpreted as a bit paranoid.
