Here's my concern. I understand Auzureus uses port 6881 but I think it
should be availabe for access while my Azureus client is executing.
I have stoped the program, not only that, but also have boot from my
linux partition and my IP address is showing extremely high activity
from my computer. I completely blocked external access to my IP and my
firewall shows blocked activity from so many IP's to my external IP
going to port UDP 6881.

All this is targeting my 6881 in a rate of hundreds hits per minute.
Is this a normail behavior? I'm I under some kind of attack?
Fairly normal behaviour I think. It depends on how long it is since you
shut down Azureus. Your IP address is held by the torrent tracker &
given to everybody who asks where they can get parts of the files that
you were seeding. So they're coming to you to try & connect to Azureus.
If Azureus shut down correctly then I think it should have updated your
status at the tracker. Other people's BitTorrent clients will eventually
update their local copies of the torrent file and will then stop trying
to connect to you. I would expect the rate to slow greatly within about
half an hour. If Azureus didn't get a chance to tell the tracker that
you were closing down then I'd guess the tracker times you out
eventually. Not sure how long that takes though.
