They play in xine, mplayer, totem, etc., but they do need special 
codecs.  If you haven't got plf set as a software source go to 
easyurpmi.zarb.org and follow the instructions to get plf free and plf 
non-free.  Then open Software Installer and browse the Video section.  
You'll find the codecs there.  The same plf sources will also give you 
decss to enable you to read commercial videos on your computer.
