Yes, Anne.
The tar.gz file I downloaded from OOo website contains RPM files.
I only issued the "urpmi openoffice*rpm" command and everything installed
perfectly. There are also menu integrations for distros like Mandriva.
They claimed you can install the OOo 2.0 alongside the older versions.
So I tried running both at the same time and they both loaded perfectly.

I am currently testing OOo Base. AND I am liking it too!
Things are just getting better with Mandriva, KDE, OOo, and FOSS in general.
