That screen did not appear, just got the icewind login stuff.
But I fixed my problem , saw that when I wanted to uninstall a KDE app
it also removed KDE base so. I just installed it again.
So I won't ever try to uninstall another stupid program that I don't use

You say 10.2 which I believe you mean 2005LE. If so when you first boot
the system and when you get to the login scrren, down on the bottom is
where you can choose between kde or other window manager and then login..
