Hi again,
Thanks for the info ... now what is happening is that I go up to the
windows machine and look in the printers window and there is a document
there from the Linux machine saying it's printing but nothing is happening.
What could this be??
One thing to keep in mind with a lot of Windows printers is that they
expect the information is a specific form. Are you sure you told CUPS
the right printer when you configured it? Unless you tell it otherwise
by specifying the printer, it will send Postscript. Now, some Windows
printer drivers will accept Postscript from another machine on the
network, but others expect it in what ever format the low end printer
driver uses. (The driver you install on other Windows machines is a high
level driver.)
