Hi everyone, I set up mandriva 2006 this evening. It looks nice. It also boots extremely fast.
Alas, I ran into the same problems with the mouse (Logitech Trackman Marble) as I had with 2005LE. I tried all kinds of stuff: moving all ~/.gnome* dirs and ~/.kde* dirs away, you name it. Finally I got a brainfart and hooked up the Trackman not to the PS/2 port but to the USB port. Restarted icewm and... wally... scrollwheel scrolls like it doesn't know anything else!! Sometimes the solution is not in the software, but in a little plug on the back of the box... Paul -- I just got out of the hospital after a speed reading accident.
