Your are quite welcome - glad to help....

A few sites seem to have the philosophy "If you're not going to watch
our ads, you can't use the site." Fortunately, many are learning that
there are plenty of alternatives on the web - I just go somewhere
else. I understand this is particularly bad on p*rn sites, but since I
don't visit any, I don't have any first-hand experience. :-))

Some sites also seem to be horribly M$-specific, particularly
banking/financial sites. I've even talked with some of the
organizations, and most could care less about non-M$ users. :-(( It's
a bit more of a pain to change banks...

RRP> Rikona: what's your web browser?

I mostly use Firefox, Konq, and Opera - I avoid IE like the plague,
but have a special machine on which I am willing to use it, if I have
to, as little as possible. Interestingly, the behavior of Firefox in
linux and under Windows is rather different. Part of this may be due
to my using different proxies under each [linux/privoxy,
Win/Proxomitron+DNSkong+Kerio+hosts file], but even when the proxies
are bypassed, it can still be different.

Mostly, I have few problems - except missing the ads. :-)
