less see, choices are basically Nvidia or ATI. better question is what
the box can use. Does it have an AGP slot? what version of AGP can the
bios handle.
I say, get as much video memory as money will buy, as a rule of thumb.
go with I have a few of both, generally I have had a problem findig 64
bit version drivers that really work, Nvidia was faster getting working
drivers (both windows and X). you ought to be able to run down to best
buy and spend $45.00 walk out with a pci 32 meg vid card and be really
pleased compared to your on-board memory stealing sucker.
