Open a terminal and type 'vimtutor' (without the quotes) at the prompt will bring it up. I cannot recall if vimtutor was part of vim-common in 8.2, or if it was a separate application. The problem is that 8.2 is so old now, few if any of us here will still have it around let alone running. So until your CDs ariive I would be studying vimbook-OPL.pdf - it's a very good tutorial for vi(m). > I am so frustrated at this point, that I feel like scrapping the > whole thing. Yeah, we've all been there at some point, keep on bashing at it, it'll come together for you suprisingly quickly. :-) Cheers John ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
