Short answer is no. Mandriva can't seem to manage to get past
2.6.12, which is 3 kernel generations behind kernel.org an many

You should read the whole thread. For the entire story you could
go to the cooker ML archives (past few months). Summary is Mandriva
has no current plans to upgrade their seriously deprecated an
outdated kernels.
