When you put in a floppy, and change to the /mnt/floppy directory, supermount mounts the floppy. When you change back out of the /mnt/floppy directory, and remove the floppy, it is unmounted. Supermount will detect that you have changed floppies, and take care of flushing any buffers.
If you would rather mount things by hand, or if your hardware has a problem detecting the floppy change, you can change the /etc/fstab entry to something like: /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto rw,sync,user,iocharset=iso8859-1,codepage=850,umask==0 0 0 Mikkel -- Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with Ketchup! ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
