I have just upgraded mandrake 10.1 to mandrivia 2006.
In 10.1 I was able to use KDevelop as an editor for unicode files.
When I open these files in the new version a dialog telling me I am editing a
binary file is displayed.
There is no option on the view menu to change the encoding.
According to the Kdevelop web site that option should be present in the current
version.
Is there something I have not installed?
Is there something I can install/select that will set up ¨everything¨ (or at
least most of the stuff) for KDevelop?

TIA,
Hugh
